We have embarked on a new project of studying the Psalms of David. One psalm at a time.

King David is one who, uniquely, is very much in this world as well has having a heart and yearning very connected to the Upper world. The Book of Tehillim (Psalms) offers an authentic emotion laden reflection of the entire human experience.

Written largely by King David. Written by a man whose life experiences range from expressing deep faith as well as intense vulnerability, from profound fear to overwhelming joy.

In the month of Elul we begin a daily reading of Psalm 27 in the morning along with the call of the Shofar and again in the afternoon or evening.

The Psalm is a powerful declaration of Teshuva / Repentance , whose words reverberate in the very air we breath in this land at this very special time.
