It has been an ancient custom to leave notes with prayers in the cracks between the Stones of the Western Wall
The question is why would such a custom even be contemplated.
First , these stones are on a wall that surrounded the temple mount that was not the wall of the Temple.
Secondly G-d hears our prayer everywhere we turn to him, why the urgent need to put the notes called Kvitelech here.
Thirdly and most importantly G-d does not need to “read ” a note to know what is in your heart.
FINALLY ..The concept of G-d having a dwelling place in our limited realm of reality makes no sense. AND YET IT SEEMS HASHEM HAD ANOTHER VISION
